Mormon leaders tackle proxy baptism

The Mormon church says it has changed its genealogical database to better prevent the names of Jews killed in Nazi concentration camps from being submitted for posthumous baptism by proxy.

All members of police and fire forces and the military will eat for free from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at Chick-fil-A, 20801 Center Ridge Road, Rocky River. Store owner, Dan Curran said that Hero’s Day at Chick-fil-A is about “trying to raise public awareness of the efforts put forth on their behalf on a daily basis.”
